Take a vertical section of hair from the hairline on your forehead to the area near the top of your head and lift it straight up.
Curl the hair from the ends to the roots in a horizontal direction with the curler.
Use the comb to pick up the surface of the curled hair and insert it near the scalp to secure it in place.
Once the curl has set, remove the comb and slide the curler out following the flow of your hair.
